Welcome to the June Edition of The Healing House Gazette
Here we are half way through 2006.
This year is passing so very quickly. I remember my Grandmother saying a similar thing and I thought to myself how could that be? But here I am in her paradigm of existence. Funny how that happens.
Time is such an indefinable and discretionary part of our lives.
Time rolls on with the same rhythm – yet some hours, days, weeks, months and years seem to take longer than others.
I often find myself pondering time and the power and influence that it has on us.
It is said that our relationship to time can be tied to our birth. That is, as we come to terms with our human form in our birth process and formative years, we form our terms of reference for life and our survival belief systems.
The healing and teaching that I have been involved with through Reiki has brought forward interesting observations about the link and devotion we have to those early beliefs.

In this edition of The Healing House Gazette there is information about what’s happening in both my Geelong and Fairfield practices over the next few months.
I’m particularly excited about the Chakra Workshop that is to be held in Fairfield this year.
This is a workshop that I facilitate every two or three years. It is a wonderful workshop.
It is very thorough in its content and it opens up awareness about this vitally important area of our lives and healing. I would like to encourage everyone to invest in this workshop. There are no specific prerequisites for the workshop – simply a desire to learn and a willingness to heal.
Another opportunity for us all is an optimum time for healing called ‘Wesak’. Wesak begins in April this year, just before Easter. The energy of Wesak is at its peak on the full moon on 13 May and then recedes with diminishing influence from 11 June. The time of Wesak has an impact our lives and dreams and goals.
Wesak represents a perfect opportunity to release that which no longer serves you and to move forward towards a more balanced, happy and free life.
Each year we have worked through a healing and awareness process with wonderful healing opportunities over Wesak.
I will be holding special Meditation Circles close to these days. I can recommend that you put the dates in your diary and make sure you come along. It’s Time to Heal!
This year on Wesak Day, Reiki Masters who are currently training with me and those who have completed their training are invited to a day of Meditation, Earth Healing and Ceremony. We will be gathering at The Healing House in Geelong on Friday evening 12 May. We will stay together overnight (a sleep over!) to take full advantage of the opportunity of Wesak and meditate together at 6.51am. The day will unfold from there.
We can get very serious about our life. We can easily get caught up in the should haves, must gets or have to’s of life! It is time to Celebrate life. It’s time to take full advantage of this wonderful opportunity that we have here on this land, at this time. It is time to celebrate the increased awareness that Personal and Spiritual Growth brings us and those around us.
Celebration is a gift of Reiki and Meditation, the focus of our Reiki Master Day. It is the key for this coming Wesak and a very important focus for our lives. Let’s Celebrate Life.
