Our Logo Explained
The Healing House has a new logo.
The Logo features a hand holding a Lotus Flower.
In Tibet there is a Mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum”
One interpretation of the Mantra is
“Only out of Murky Waters can a beautiful Lotus Grow”.
In other words - our past, however murky can lay the foundation for a beautiful future.
Over the past 12 or so years, a Reiki Master – Teacher & Healer, I have been a witness to some amazing transformations in the lives of clients - and indeed, from some very ‘murky waters’ many ‘beautiful lotus have grown’.
I know that within everyone is a beautiful lotus waiting to blossom, waiting to shine in the light, waiting to be expressed.
Reiki is a wonderful, easy, non-invasive way to connect with the beauty and wonder within each of us - that is why I have chosen the symbol of a beautiful Lotus sitting in a healing hand.

The Evolving Sacred Circle
Earlier this year a group of about twenty women from The Healing House travelled to a Retreat at Bacchus Marsh for a weekend workshop
We experienced a two days of connection, healing, good food – no great food, yoga, meditation and much, much more.
The trip away enhanced our appreciation of ourselves as individuals and created great friendships with each other. As a group, we also embraced the opportunity to connect with Mother Earth with a collective consciousness of healing.
As well as the Retreat we also enjoyed a day of Meditation, Lunch and Earth Healing at The Healing House in Geelong.
We went to a beach near Geelong to create a Sacred Healing Circle smilar to the one we created at our Retreat.
I had previously visited the area which has a fence near to the space I had chosen.
To our amazement and delight, prior to us arriving someone had placed Tibetan prayer flags along the fence. It appears that this place was being used by others for healing ceremony of some sort as well.
How wonderful, that this space on a remote part of a beach near Geelong was evolving into a shared place of healing.
We had great fun creating the circle. When it was completed we felt that it contained an intensity of beautiful healing energy.
After a few months, I returned to the area where we had created the circle and it was still there – undisturbed. And there were more Prayer Flags placed along the fence. How wonderful!!
In September we are having a Reiki Master Day in Geelong. As a part of our day together, we will return to the Sacred Circle, make the Circle more permanent and offer Healing to Mother Earth. I wonder if there will be any more Prayer Flags along the fence!
In 2009, I plan to hold a Earth Healing Day and all who come will be invited to this evolving Special Place.
