We can complicate our lives by seeking love and reassurance of our self-worth in ways that give us a short term ‘hit’ of happiness. Some seek that ‘hit’ by always being there to ‘help’ others or by trying to control their environment, family and friends. The ‘hit’ can also be linked with an expectation of a ‘positive reinforcement’ response to the ‘help’ offered to further add to the ‘hit’.
Seeking approval can be exhausting
Expelling that amount of energy is exhausting. Many who pursue that pathway end up fatigued, empty, unappreciated and rung out. It is a pathway that can’t be sustained because of the energy that is required constantly seek the ‘hit’.
Connecting with a life of harmony and balance, allowance and peace, compassion and hope create the space for healing and love… and a life with innate feelings of well-being and contentment. It is the space for Self-worth to flourish.
There are many pathways to connect with a sense of personal well-being that is healthy and sustainable.
Conscious connection to our breath, and of course Reiki are wonderful pathways to centre and connect with the potential and possibility of love, light and healing within each of us.
As we centre and connect we can get a sense of our unique personal self and personal empowerment and with that comes inner contentment.
Life can then flow with more ease and grace.
When learning Reiki and the Mindfulness Meditation technique that Gill has developed known as Conscious Relaxation we learn to focus on our breath.
We consciously Breathe in Love and Breathe out Peace. This focus supports us to consciously centre ourselves
We have the choice to experience life as a conscious journey. We can consciously live with gratitude and optimism. Conscious living brings a richness that fulfilling and enlivening.
Knowing that we have conscious choices life can flow with more ease and grace. Living a life with a healthy sense of self-worth requires conscious awareness and a willingness to heal… and gee it’s worth it!! … and … It’s Time to Heal!
